Hello Kitty Décor & Birthday Party Ideas

Does your little girl, like most little girls, love Hello Kitty? Well, why not give her the ultimate Hello Kitty birthday party. Reggies Toy store also has a lovely range of Hello Kitty toys to add to your party packs. Here are some lovely ideas to keep costs down and make it the ultimate themed party of the year.

1. Creating your Hello Kitty Party Invitations

You will need pink cardboard, glitter glue, a Hello Kitty stencil (optional) and some bows (these you can find at your local scrap booking outlet). The invitations are easy, quick and fun to make with your little girl. First cut out the pink cardboard in the shape of a Hello Kitty face. you can use a stencil to trace the outline of the face. Next stick the bow ties on the kitty's and last use the glitter glue to outline the shape of the Hello Kitty face. And there you have it, your Hello Kitty invitation is ready!

2. Hello Kitty Party Décor

Hello Kitty, green, pink, black and white. Streamers and balloons and make sure that you get those toys from Reggies for those fabulous center pieces for the tables. Attach some helium balloons to the toys and there you have it, a magical Hello Kitty center piece. It is preferable to use a white tablecloth and scatter it with pink sequins, pink sweeties or party confetti. A nice idea would be to paint a big Hello Kitty on on a large piece of board or cardboard and in the place of the face you would cutout a circular shape. In this way the kid can put their faces in the whole and have their pictures taken as "Hello Kitty".

3. Welcome the Hello Kitty Friends

Besides the Hello Kitty ears made from an alice band have a mask with whiskers that you could make using a similar method as the invitations. Keep the children busy while they wait for the party to begin by getting them to write a little message for the birthday girl.

4. Hello Kitty Creating

Activities are tops for a Hello Kitty party. Coloring in is always fun and always works as a great activity. Scrap booking shops have a wide variety of different decorating bits and bobs for collages and decorative door knob features. Use stickers, gel pens glitter beads from material stores or anything related to Hello Kitty creativity. Making jewelry is always fun for Hello Kitty parties. There are some fantastic bead stores throughout South Africa. Make sure you have some ideas for the girls to follow, but using their own creativity is always best.

5. Hello Kitty Fun

The same as you would pin the tail on the donkey. Print or paint a large replica of a Hello Kitty face and pin the bow on Hello Kitty.

6. Hello Kitty Favors Pack

The best fillers for a Hello Kitty party pack would be anything that you can buy in bulk from a Hello Kitty outlet. Things like notepads, lip-gloss, toy cell phone, Hello Kitty Sunglasses and more. A nice idea would be to print some Hello Kitty faces on plain stickers and fill a brown paper packet with the goodies and seal the packet with one of the stickers.
